We are all born with intuitive eating skills. From a young age, we can begin to lose touch with these skills due to many outside influences. The world tends to make health look a certain way, and sometimes striving for that is the exact opposite of health. This can understandably cause lots of frustration and anxiety! But the good news is you can rebuild your relationship with food and your body in ways that feel sustainable.
I’m a Georgia native and Southern girl through and through. I grew up in a farming town, which inspired an early interest in how food and community impact our sense of self and belonging. Something that brings me the most joy is gathering family and friends for a nice food and beverage spread. Sharing meals with others brings a sense of peace and connectedness that I hope for everyone! I‘m a big fan of Pure Barre and just celebrated taking my 1500th glass. I have three teenagers ages 15-19.
